Create Cycle Count Through API and Pull Past Completed Cycle Counts

Need ability to pull previously completed cycle counts either through a report or API call using date parameters. We have used the cycle count process for year end inventory and it worked pretty well but we had to create a cycle count for each of our 500 locations and it took a lot of time, API scripting would make it a lot easier and prevent missing locations. For past cycle counts: pulling more than just the last 10 cycle counts is necessary. We know we can record the cycle count number and go directly to that in the url but it is again very slow and not automatable. If there is another year end inventory method that is planned in the future that could also fix the issue.
